Hongdae is approximately 5 to 6 kilometers from Seoul’s city center and the name Hongdae is short for Hongik University, it is a vibrant and youthful area known for its bustling nightlife, street performances, and art culture. It’s a popular neighborhood for students, artists, and creatives.
