Roppongi is in the central part of Tokyo which is south of Akasaka and north of Azabu. This area is brimming with an international atmosphere because few foreign embassies and multinational companies are nearby. There are various Westernized restaurants as well as large international grocery stores. The famous place here is Roppongi Hills which is the development area and has a night club scene that is pretty popular with locals and foreigners, one might say that this area serves as an international business district during daytime and nighttime, but it turns into the entertainment district with numerous night club scene. Roppongi is known for its high-end condominiums and luxury apartments, often with gyms, pools, and concierge services. Buildings such as Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown feature modern architecture and upscale living. Hiroo
Hiroo is a neighborhood located in the Minato ward of Tokyo. This area is known as the international district as well as the “expat central” of Tokyo. For housing options, larger western-style housing is easier to find and most of the areas are peaceful and relaxed. Meguro
Meguro is located southwest of Central Tokyo and is known as the residential area in Tokyo. This area has easy access to both Central Tokyo and Yokohama. Supermarkets and restaurants are spread out in and around the main station building, making it easy for both single person or young professional and families to find. Meguro River is one of the famous landmarks in this neighborhood with its beautiful cherry blossoms during spring. Its proximity to German Schools and other International Schools as well makes it convenient for expat families with children. Meguro offers a range of residential options, including modern apartments, older buildings, and some traditional Japanese homes. Several high-rise apartments in the area are built near Meguro Station. Rental prices in Meguro can be on the higher side, especially for newer properties or those located near the river, but there are also more affordable options available.
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is located in the western part of Tokyo. Shinjuku Station is known as the busiest train station in the world therefore it is easily accessible by multiple train lines, including the JR Yamanote Line, making it a major transportation hub.
